Pre-requisites
- Access to the EEGPlugin folder.
- Your subject's head circumference measurement.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Use the standard coordinates
The EEGPlugin folder contains the standard coordinate sets for each cap size.
- Open the EEGPlugin folder.
- Locate the coordinate file matching your cap.
- If you need coordinates customized to a specific circumference instead, go to step 2.
2. Identify customized coordinates
Download the attached Spatial Cap_coords_all.xls
- Select the circumference that best matches your subject.
- Select the corresponding coordinate set from the file.
3. Understand coordinate accuracy before using the data
Location coordinates are derived by scanning the head of one or more subjects and extrapolating the data. This means the values are inherently tied to the specific subject(s) used to generate them, and may vary by source.
- We recommend using these coordinates for visualization rather than data analysis, since values may differ across sources.
